What’s the biggest risk you’d like to take — but haven’t been able to?
Life has always been about choices — some easy, some uncertain, and some that test every ounce of courage within us. I’ve taken risks that many people around me once called “mistakes.” But today, when I look back, those very risks are what shaped me.
In the early days of my career, I took a long leave from my job to pursue something I believed in. It didn’t work out the way I hoped, and people criticized my decision. Yet, that experience taught me how to create more from fewer resources. It made me sharper, wiser, and stronger in handling challenges.
Later, I decided to prepare for administrative exams — one of the toughest paths — while coming from a simple background with limited resources. I dedicated 6–7 years of my life to it. People around me often said, “Take a small job first, then prepare.” But I chose to give my full time and heart to that dream.
Even though I didn’t achieve success in that exam, destiny led me to become a school lecturer. During those years, I also went through difficult times — anxiety, depression, and moments where life felt directionless. But slowly, I came out of that darkness, one step at a time.
Now, when I reflect, I realize that everything that happened — every failure, every delay, every pain — was necessary. It helped me understand life deeply and gave me a calm strength to face any situation.
Today, I believe in myself more than ever. I no longer fear taking risks because I’ve seen what they can teach me. For me, risk is not about losing or winning — it’s about growing.
And I know one thing for sure — I will keep taking risks, not recklessly, but with awareness and courage. Because that’s how life truly moves forward.
